The marine gas detection and alarm system is a professional safety monitoring solution specially customized for fishing vessels and marine working conditions, jointly developed for harsh offshore environments. According to IMO industry statistics, more than 85% of marine confined space accidents are caused by invisible gas hazards, including flammable gas explosion, oxygen deficiency suffocation, and toxic gas poisoning. Traditional manual inspection cannot achieve 24-hour real-time monitoring, leading to delayed emergency response and frequent safety accidents. This systematic gas monitoring solution completely solves the pain points of hidden gas hazards, undetected leakage and passive rescue on ships, realizing full-time and full-area active safety prevention.
Different from ordinary industrial gas detectors, this system is professionally optimized for marine high humidity, strong salt spray, severe vibration and confined enclosed cabin environments. It can accurately monitor various common ship hazardous gases, including combustible gases (diesel vapor, liquefied petroleum gas, methane, propane, hydrogen), toxic and harmful gases (ammonia, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide), oxygen (O₂) and refrigerant freon (R22). It effectively prevents major accidents such as ship explosion, crew suffocation and poisoning caused by gas leakage, and fully complies with marine safety operation specifications.

System Composition & Working Principle

This complete marine gas alarm system adopts a three-layer modular architecture of perception, transmission and control, with stable operation and convenient expansion. The whole set of equipment includes marine explosion-proof gas detectors, intelligent alarm controller, 7-inch high-definition display screen and linkage ventilation equipment. Equipped with dual power supply modes of AC220V main power and DC12V backup power, and supporting solar power supply for docked standby status, it ensures 24-hour uninterrupted monitoring without power failure dead zone.
The high-sensitivity sensors arranged in all key areas of the ship collect real-time gas concentration data, and transmit stable signals to the host controller through industrial-grade RS485 bus. Once the gas concentration exceeds the preset threshold, the system will instantly trigger sound and light alarm, display the leakage position and concentration data in real time, and automatically link exhaust fans and other safety equipment to discharge hazardous gas, realizing intelligent linkage disposal.

Core Advantages & Technical Features

1. Professional Marine Anti-corrosion & Anti-vibration Design The detector adopts reinforced stainless steel anti-corrosion shell with special salt spray and anti-rust treatment, featuring excellent anti-vibration, anti-impact and anti-salt spray performance. It can adapt to long-term harsh marine working conditions and avoid equipment failure caused by marine environmental corrosion.
2. High-stability Intelligent Sensor Built-in high-quality industrial sensor with strong anti-interference and anti-poisoning ability, supporting long-term stable detection. It covers multiple detection ranges: 0~100%LEL for combustible gas, 0~30%VOL for oxygen, 0~500PPM for carbon monoxide and freon R22, meeting all ship safety detection needs.
3. Dual-stage Adjustable Alarm & Accurate Monitoring Support pre-alarm and formal alarm dual threshold free adjustment, which can be set according to different ship safety standards. Equipped with HD digital tube and LCD color dual display, real-time gas concentration, equipment status and alarm records are clearly visible, supporting Chinese and English switching for global application.
4. Wireless Remote Debugging & Easy Maintenance Infrared wireless remote control function realizes parameter setting, calibration and fault diagnosis without opening the shell, greatly simplifying on-site operation and daily maintenance work for ship crews.
5. IP66 High Protection & Rich Interface Expansion With IP66 waterproof and dustproof grade, suitable for humid and dusty ship cabins. The controller is equipped with 2 groups of signal output, 4 groups of programmable interfaces and 4~20mA analog interfaces, which can be seamlessly connected with third-party marine monitoring systems to realize unified management.
6. Data Traceability & Fault Self-inspection The host supports storage of 999 alarm records and 999 fault records, realizing full data traceability. It has automatic fault self-inspection function to feed back equipment abnormal information in time, ensuring long-term stable operation of the system.

Application Scenarios

Widely applicable to all types of fishing vessels, cargo ships and marine engineering ships, covering key hazard areas such as ship engine rooms, oil storage cabins, refrigeration and cold storage rooms, sewage tanks, enclosed working cabins and equipment compartments. It is specially used for real-time monitoring of diesel vapor, LPG, oxygen, ammonia, freon and other hazardous gases, effectively avoiding explosion, suffocation and poisoning accidents, and helping ships meet international maritime safety compliance standards.
